Coffee Break Ver 1.7

This is my first time joining this.

Coffee Break Ver 1.7 from Jan
.

This week she invites us to:

Share with everyone the fondest memory you have of you and your family.

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them. ~Desmond Tutu

The fondest memory I have with my little family is when we first visited my husband's place ~ in Siquijor. It was Ozzy & mines first time there. I have to be honest, getting there was super horrific! We had to take the car + dog; so we had to take the barge. Since we were 10 minutes late for the barge (and was left!) we were stuck in Dumaguete for at least 5 hours. Thus the picture below. We stayed in the park where we took photos and waved when a caravan of the May 2007 Elections candidates passed by.

I realized that I am happiest when I am in some place new. We had a lovely time staying in their families beach house. We even had lechon! Ozzy was only 10 months then.

...............the early morning walk along the beach was also nice. I wish we can go back there soon.

wow, Siquijor! It's my MIL's hometown and I've been there once (when I and hubby are still BF-GF) and we're looking forward going back there soon. I love the beaches and the tranquil atmosphere.
