Ozzy's yaya.

The new yaya came last thursday night.
She is 14 (just turned 14 last March) so technically
for me, still 13!!!! imagine? 12 years age gap with my son?

Can she perform?
I am worried.

She speaks Waray, because she's from Samar.
She understands Bisaya because her previous employer
is Cebuana. But she speaks to Ozzy in Tagalog.

As of now, Day 4 with my boy, she can feed him,
bathe him, but I still put the boy to sleep.

I don't think I can leave them alone for a long time
yet. She seems nice, hard working & jolly.

I dunno, will keep an eye on her & see if she's
right for the job.

Yeah ur right on keeping an eye or better yet both eyes. The yaya is still considered a kid. My youngest is 15 but still plays in the street.

Hiya! I saw you in Christiana's blog and thought of visiting your page. This post has caught my attention in particular as I am a mum myself (Sorry, I tend to spell 'mum' this way... I guess it's a British thing). I can only sympathize with how you feel about getting help in looking after your child... Getting help does not make us bad parents in any shape or form... In fact, I think it makes us better ones as we're able to relieve ourselves from the stress of looking after babies/kids 27/7... I would say that your babysitter is still a kid herself and there are still many things that she should learn in looking after young ones. If you feel happy enough that she cares for your son, I can't see any problems with that... As what Marie has said, just keep an eye on them. Good luck with everything :)
