Through email, IM, blogging, Friendster, Myspace & Multiply (I don't have Facebook)I have managed to keep in touch with friends from way back, friends from college & friends that are located halfway across the globe. I can keep them updated with what's happening in my life - from the mundane things to important events like the birth of my son. Not only that, they can easily view latest pictures of me & my family.
Also, I have gained new friends, people that I normally won't meet in normal circumstances, people that live far away, people that are totally different from me, people that are like me, I have met mostly through my new found obsession - blogging.
To add to that, internet made it easier for me to pay my bills, transfer money, check updates in news & gossip, information literally is at my fingertips. Love it. Love it. Who wouldn't?
