Sometimes, I still am amazed at how my 2-year old became so wise for his age.
While reading a book to him.
Me: (pointing to a passenger ship) BOAT.
Ozzy: No! Ship.
Me: (shocked to be corrected) oh right, ship, thanks baby.
Ozzy: (Flipping to the next page pointing to the boat) Mommy, Boat..boat!
Me: o...kay.(stupid me, I stand corrected)
While his lola was reading a book to him.
Lola: (w/o glasses pointing to a elephant) "That's a COW"
Ozzy: "No, 'liphant"
(oo nga naman lola, elephant! lol)
While being carried by our employee, Alex. (they were outside)
Alex: (moved to the side of the street) "Let's stay here, a jeepney might hit us"Moral lesson of the story? Never underestimate the knowledge and memory of your child, no matter how young he is.
Ozzy: "No! Taxi"
(..and rightly so, a taxi was approaching and not a jeepney)

it's so embarrassing din na ma-correct ng kids ha. but your son's smart. obviously, he pays attention & observant. bibo! you must be very proud!
ang galing na ni ozzy ha. he now knows how to differentiate.
