With the USA's recession all over the news, many wary about the idea of owning a home. Renting is always an option to many, but when you have a growing family under your belt like me, it is always nice to invest - not just in a house, but a home for the family.

Hubby and I were looking for a nice house and lot online and as much as I love the existing houses, I can't help but dream about owning a dream house that I designed or helped design by myself. You see, each one of us have different preferences when it comes to house design. For example, I would like my house to have lots of open space and big windows so that it would not become stuffy inside. I would also like a big garden and lawn. A terrace and also a big walk in closet. (Its free to dream right?!)
