Get Certified

I am Industrial Engineer (also known as Management Engineering) by profession but I never really got to practice in my chosen field because even before graduation I started working for our company to help my dad out. The plan was to work part time and then move one when I want to. Well, its been 4 years and I'm still here. I'm not complaining though because as much as I envy my friends who have serious careers, I am but too happy working at home.

As I have said, many of my friends have gone and pursued masters degree in Management Engineering to further their advantage and knowledge on the subject. One friend even teaches now. Even though IE's are known to be Instant Engineers because we have no Board Exams, I am very proud to say all IE graduates from my University are certified to work as an Engineer even without what you call a certification. For courses like Information Technology or IT, getting MCITP Training would prepare the students to further their skills and distinguishing themselves as an expert in their specialized technology.

Because whether we like it or not, extra training and certification gives us an edge.
