Seniors Chat

We got home from Leyte last night and although it was a good trip where Ozzy obviously enjoyed himself, I wish I could say the same for me. I was nauseated going there, in pain the whole Saturday and again - nauseated going back. It felt like the whole weekend all I wanted to do was puke.

Regardless, I am happy we got to see and celebrate my grandmother's 92nd birthday with her. She does not remember our names anymore and is confused most of the time. But she can still walk so that's a good thing. She started forgetting things around 3 years ago, she used to always ask us when we are coming back to visit her, now she is just so happy if were there. I guess the problem started when most of the time she had no one to talk to at home.

It is important even for senior citizens like my grandma who became a widow early to have people to talk to so she won't stagnate. There's even a Free Senior Chat online where they could meet new people and talk about their similarities and hobbies.

However, my 92 year old grandmother will be confused as heck what a computer is.
