Ozzy's Little Quirks

Its been awhile since I last talked about my Little Ozzy. So here are some tidbits about him you may or may not know.

  • He would want to wear mismatched shoes. Sometimes his left foot is wearing slippers and his right his Crocs. Sometimes too only 1 foot has slippers the other one would go barefoot. I don't know why but maybe its his fashion style?
  • He would tease me and say he doesn't want to brush his teeth so that I will torture him and tickle him. (well this is more cute than weird, noh?)
  • He has a lot of miniature cars & animals as toys and he would love to line them up like this. That's how he plays. He would put them all back in his little basket then grab them one by one and line them up again.
  • He is definitely left handed.
  • He can count to 20 in English and 12 in Spanish. He can also recite the ABC.
  • He doesn't like to watch Go, Diego Go anymore. More than dislike I am guessing because he would cry when it is on TV, so we would just turn it off.
  • He is already Potty Trained! Just minor accidents here & there but in general he doesn't need (even want) those diapers already. Its really true what they say, when the child is ready to be potty trained then everything will be easy for the child and for the parent.
  • He still asks to nurse from time to time. Of course, I don't let him but that doesn't stop him from trying.
  • He has this weird, special dance (tongue out!) when watching Wowowee. And he finds Mariel the prettiest.
  • He says "cute" a lot. When he see's pebbles he would pick them up and say "cuuuute".
So, I potty trained him at 2 years and 8 months. Not bad considering I targeted his 3rd birthday. However, during his Gymboree classes he still has a problem with his attention span and he does not participate as much. Which leads me to think that he is still not ready for preschool. Some parents start their children as early as now for preschool but I won't because Ozzy is clearly not ready. When he reaches 4, that's the time I would enroll him.

How about you? What is the best time to start your child in preschool?
