All About Books

Before bedtime my son would always do 3 things in this order. #1 Brush his teeth, #2 Pray and #3 Have me read a book - err rather a few bedtime stories. I have no problem looking for a suitable reading material may it be a simple story, an encyclopedia or a classic bedtime story like his favorite the 3 Little Pigs - because we have an extensive collection of books.

My parents are wide readers from religious books to sci-fi name it we have it. My dad had to box at least 10 carton full and sell just to de-clutter our overflowing hallway bookcase. The problem with having so many books is its hard to find one specific book when you need it. That is where a book organizer comes in handy. A software like this is very helpful for families like mine where reading is very second nature. Knowing exactly you have and what volumes are still missing is a very refreshing feeling knowing you won't have duplicates. The key to good book management is having an effective book inventory.

It's a great idea especially if you don't have the time to keep on looking for one book in the vast pile. The Dewey Decimal System is not exactly my cup of tea. So, check it out. My son's asking for me to read for him again. Ta ta!
