I've been monitoring the exchange rate everyday since my job entails me to know the current rates; with such knowledge I should have had some of my paypal money encashed a few weeks back when the dollar rate was higher. I would have had more money to deposit. Oh well.
I was doing a few reading on CD rates at banks and although it has slightly decreased this past week it was just small. By the way CD Rate also means certificate of deposit. More and more people have been afraid to deposit their hard earned cash into banks lately because of the fear that they can't get their money back. Some banks here in the Philippines have already closed and filed for bankruptcy leaving their poor depositors so little choices. And to think school is beginning.
