This Holiday, one thing I want but won't buy for myself is a new HDTV with a dvd player. I want it inside our room so that I can still watch my favorite tv shows especially in the wee hours of the morning when the little one refuses to sleep. However, we have a small space in our bedroom so the best way to do it is to place the tv in wall mounts so that it will be flat against the wall. This way it will be hard to reach especially by my technologically gifted 3 year old. You know how kids are these days. They can operate anything from a touchscreen cellphones, laptops to digital cameras. My 3 year old can't play videos from the DVD player because he doesn't know how to switch the tv to video mode, however he can play a CD in the laptop! That's why I hide my laptop now, if not I'd catch him using it *gasp!* He would watch youtube clips and videos online. He knows that he can do this by clicking the 'fox' icon.
The only thing stopping me right now are two things : I want it as a gift (hint) and I fear that Ozzy will dominate over it and watch tv all day! What do you think?
