Water, Water!

My skin, as well as the kids' skin is very sensitive. I've got that from my mom whom she got from her own mother. Aside from being very dry, we easily get rashes and age spots! So, anyway, since our skin is dry, I make sure to moisturize the kids' skin as often as I can. Every after shower, I always rub lotion (even though both boys hate it!). I know they will appreciate my efforts when their bigger. Still, the baby developed dry patches on his back no matter how much I tried to moisturize and even buy him expensive baby washes. I guess it boils down to the water. The water from the tap is hard water, full of chemicals to kill the bacteria. So, every time I wash the kids, their skin gets striped of its moisture due to the harsh water. That's why we really looked for a trusted water filter supplier and asked for a quotation on a whole house filter system. Sure, it would mean extra monthly expenses but if you really think about it, its a great investment.
